Candlewood Suites Fort Wayne - NW by IHG

When I got to hotel at 3:30 they did not have the room I reserved in October Had to take a room with king bed instead of a double bed room one night and could move to double next day was staying 3 nights. It was inconvenient. They only offered me a $50 credit for their mistake.

Customer services, great, the rooms are exactly what you expect.The refrigerator was in great working order. My only complaint is that when I went to take my shower at 5 AM, the water was not hot.It was lukewarm. We were in town for a scouting merit badge college being hosted by Purdue. Too bad we love to 6 AM.And the free breakfast started at six thirty. Not their fault at all.It was just poor planning on our end. It was a very busy weekend and maybe too many people were using the shower at the same time as me

I was shocked at how big the room was for such a great price. Location was great and close to activities, shopping and food. The king bed was so big and comfortable. The bedroom suite was bigger than I was anticipating and it was nice to have the bed in a separate room to close the door from the living space. The bathroom was not cramped, had a good amount of room for two people to move around and get ready. The desk area and chairs were very useful. The couch and chair were comfortable to relax in after a long day out and about. We had plenty of room for two friends that were staying in another room at the hotel to spend a couple hours visiting. All in all, I would definitely stay here again!!

Stayed here for 1 night needed a late checkout due to travel plans, and they were very accommodating. Room was pretty clean, nothing that would keep me from coming back. Location is also pretty good, its hear a busy intersection and not much for food is on the hotel side of the road other than a Golden Corral which is right next to the hotel. I would stay again!

While we had an issue during our stay and had to change rooms, the service we received during the experience was exceptional. Jackson was understanding and helpful, solicitous and fast acting. Because of him, we would return without question. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. While the hotel does not offer a free breakfast, the prices reflect that and the kitchens are well equipped for preparing food.
