Embassy Theatre

We visited The Embassy to see The Nutcracker Ballet, and the entire experience absolutely exceeded my expectations. The moment you walk inside, you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The building is stunning — rich with history, charm, and architectural details you just don’t see anymore. The theater itself was breathtaking. Every time those giant golden curtains opened and closed, it felt truly magical, like a scene out of a classic old-Hollywood production. It added so much to the beauty and wonder of the ballet. One of the highlights was the security guard, who was incredibly helpful and surprisingly knowledgeable about the history of the building. We watched the Dirty Dancing Live show. It was great. We had an amazing time. Popcorn, candy, beverages, and alcohol were in the concessions. The theater is stunning.

I've lived in Fort Wayne my whole life and never have been to the embassy. Recently my daughter and I went to see twilight in concert there and it was absolutely beautiful! The only reason for 4 stars is the stairs man....I have a bad knee and my daughter has a spinal issue. It was a lot of stairs to get to our seat. No elevator was available.

Great show at a historic theater. The theater gets everyone in quick so dont worry about the lines. There are 4 concession stands and staff all over to help. We went for a comedy show and sound was great. Looks like there are no bad seats where you cant see anything.

The theater is GORGEOUS inside. The concession was efficient and the ushers were helpful. Ticket price was reasonable. The seating was atrociously uncomfortable. We had seats directly behind a rail that didn't allow room for even the first couple inches of our feet. Instead of being mounted on the floor below the row, the rail was mounted on the same level so we had about 4" of legroom, and since the slats were so close together we couldn't put any part of our feet through them, so we had to keep our legs bent with our feet beneath us the entire show. Be so careful when choosing seats that you are not in a seat that is directly behind a rail. I'm 5'3" and it was terribly uncomfortable for me. Be warned: NO legroom in the balcony, if you're over 5' tall don't choose the seats that o
