Woodland Lodging

The location was nice; scenery was great. The host was responsive and had great communication about road closures and updated directions. The only downfall was the cleanliness - empty shot bottle found in cupboard, candy on the floor, the shower mat smelt of urine once the hot water came on and some clearly unwashed towels/washcloths in bathroom.

We had a wonderful stay over Memorial Day weekend! The location was truly serene and yet still only a mile from town so we were able to walk and bike to town from the house. Our group of 7 rented both the upper and lower units and had plenty of space - (one family of 4 with a 4 and 7 year old stayed in the bottom unit and then 3 adults in the upper). The beds were super comfortable and up to my wife’s high standards! :) Units had everything we needed for cooking meals. Was a perfect location for exploring- beaches, biking, hiking- will definitely stay again!

We loved this Cabin in the Woods! Had all the amenities, and it was sparkling clean and comfortable. It was quiet and peaceful and the hosts, Hank and Liz were great! We look forward to returning this year. Loved the location, close to town, yet in a more secluded setting. We were there for the Apple Festival.

Beautiful property with a view of Lake Superior from the top balcony. Clean and comfortable property with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom and full bath. They exceeded expectations by having a frozen pizza for us in the freezer, coffee, tea and cereal bars on the counter. Available WiFi, with a tv and Roku. Before ever seeing the property, I was absolutely pleased with the owners, Rick & Amy. They were prompt in responding to concerns and were very personable and accommodating. We definitely intend to stay there again when we go back to visit the Apostle Islands.

It was a nice, neat place. The location was nice as it was it of town and had woods around it. It felt like staying in a little apartment and having a kitchen was nice to cook meals in. I would stay there again!
