DePerrys on the Lake

My husband and I stayed in Annex 2 and it was perfect. Everything was very clean, communication about our arrival time and how to check-in was great. The grill was nice to have to save some money on eating out. The decor was tasteful and attractive. Loved all of the fixtures and very thankful for plenty of hand soap, lotion, makeup remover wipes, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, dishwasher soap, paper toweling, TP, etc. there was even coffee to use. The bed was wonderful - I have back issues and it didn't worsen like some overnight places. I always bring my own pillows and we didn't even use them. Location was perfect, very secluded and quiet. You can hear people staying in annex 1 occasionally but nothing bothersome - understandable when in that close proximity. Lots of books to

A truly great find! Nestled in the woods at the end of a rural road you feel like you are away from it all while it’s only a short drive to beautiful Bayfield. You can relax on your private lakeside deck, or dip your toes in the water in the private cove. End the evening with a campfire in the outdoor fire pit! Hosts are WONDERFUL. The rooms were clean & the bed was comfortable. We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone!

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Basswood Suite in mid September. We loved it. The view was just what we hoped for and the location was super quiet, which is important to us. The accommodations were very clean and neat. The hosts are great people. For us, it was a spiritual retreat, a real get-away. ||Bayfield is less than 10 minutes away. We liked the food at The Fat Radish, fresh and yummy.

We just returned from a wonderful week at DePerrys on the Lake. We stayed in annex 1...a one bedroom suite.... clean, comfortable, spacious, cozy. Loved sitting on the deck in the evening listening to the waves and star gazing. The property is gorgeous....quiet and private with a beautiful view of the Lake. It's a short drive to the Orchards, Island tour cruises and the Madeline Island ferry. Our hosts were helpful and gracious. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to our next visit.

It's a short drive north of the very touristy Bayfield. A perfect getaway. The Basswood Suite was very clean. The wall colors they chose were very calming. Beds were comfortable. The decorations were a blend of Native American and nature. Great view of Lake Superior. Outside you could stretch out on the hammock or sit at the lakeside bench and just relax and be part of nature.
