Bayfield on the Lake Unit #201

While the view is what Bayfield on the Lake is all about & it is beautiful, the condo(102) could use some work. The accommodations for 4 women with a king & queen beds(rooms) the Murphy bed in the living area was ideal. The kitchen was stocked as well as my own, the appliances (the usual stove,frig, microwave) were in good working condition. The 3/4 bath is tight, elbow room in the shower inclosure is 0,as is head room (if you’re a bigger person…) the toilet seats in both bathrooms are not the right size, so don’t lean too far either way as it will drop( as will your heart) The vessel sinks take up most of the vanity top so very little room for any toiletries. The master bedroom is spacious , the 2nd bedroom would be tight for 2 adults. The living area is huge to accommodate the Murphy b

Wonderful location overlooking Bayfield Harbor and the Memorial Park. Rented unit was large and appropriate for our group. Common hallway very institutional. Unit was showing age and needed several repairs. Worth a stay, but temper your expectations.

Our family stayed in condo 202 and really enjoyed it. The condo is nice and spacious and was very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to cook several meals in the condo. There were plenty of extra blankets and pillow and places to relax. The best part was the deck overlooking Lake Superior! The location was great and you can walk to all the shops and restaurants and even hear the live music by the lake. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the mattress on the pull out couch. The bathrooms are outdated but it didn’t bother us.

We stayed in #201. Beautifully remodeled and updated. Great views on the marina from the outdoor patio. Very spacious and comfortable for our family of four. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you’d need. Beds comfortable. Very clean throughout. Free coffee, ice for beverages, and flavored water available in the Bayfield Inn lobby next door.

We used to stay in these condos in their first few decades. Still a great view and location but while the prices doubled, the updates are poor or absent. In our unit, a new dishwasher blocked cabinets from being opened. The front door lock is so worn, it does not open reliably. The building is unbelievably noisy . We were on floor 2 and a large family upstairs started it’s stumping runs at 7.00 am. The place is poorly lit, the dining room chairs wobble.||Just not enough quality for $400 plus a night for us, but everyone else seems happy enough 😊
