Mt. Ashwabay Ski & Recreation Area

What a fun way to celebrate a February thaw and the melting of ice. This was a perfect place for our multi generational family to enjoy some skiing. The facilities are rustic and authentic and clean; grooming was excellent. It’s obvious that the staff and community cares for Mt Ashwabay. We’ll be back!

We snowshoed one day and came back the next day to ski and ride. Perfect place for young skiers to learn with a very helpful staff to assist with equipment rentals. We're definitely coming back!

Was a fine ski center as a beginner, however, the lady who helped renters put on ski boots and their skis was quite rude and impatient with me, despite being very friendly to my friends (who were white). One of the friends who was present during my interaction with the lady who worked there was taken aback by how rude she was to me. I hope if anyone who works at the Mt. Ashwabay Ski Area who may read this hopefully prospers a more mindful and inclusive community.

Even though only a few runs were open, we had a fun day of skiing. My rental boots were really comfy, and the skis were in great shape. Very short waits for the lift, and beautiful views from the top. Good selection of beers, and my kid loved the black bean burger. We'll be back next year!

Super fun hill! Lots to do and extremely competitive prices. You honestly cannot beat their Nordic trails
