Very Nice place that could almost be perfect if a few key things were addressed. Almost everything about this place is enjoyable but the biggest disappointment is the beach. There is a very nice sandy beach however it borders on unusable. The beach is covered with goose droppings and it is not maintained. The other disturbing thing was numerous pieces of broken glass in the beach right near the water line. Don’t let the kids out there barefoot! If someone would just periodically go out there with a rake and clean it up the beach would be more usable. Even if they would simply have a few rakes sitting out there by the beach so people could rake up an area clean of goose poop and broken glass to have a clean enjoyable area. We love staying here. We have stayed in many of the cabins, but the lighthouse is our favorite. This year, we had a group of 19 and the accommodation was perfect! The owner (Susie) is always available if something is needed. She's super friendly and provides insight on the area. This location is very close to Bayfield, while still being right on Lake Superior. There is a beach for swimming into the lake ... beware, it can be chilly!

It's a great family environment that's provides a small campgrounds feel. Pictures included are taken directly from the living room of our cabin. Only complaint would be the swarms of bugs, but there's nothing you can really do about that. Bug repellent is recommend. Would recommend to a friend.

We have stayed here quite a few times over the past years and always have been treated exceptionally well. Susie is a joy to work with and takes great care of her guests. The cabins are always clean and comfortable.
