Wingate by Wyndham Greenville Airport

Room 403 Wingate Windham February 6 to February 9, 2026 - [ ] The showerhead needed to be replaced overnight the following day, in the middle of the night so that I could take a showeron Saturday night. The gentleman at the front desk was not Maintainence or supervisor, however was kind enough to come and change the showerhead and advise me to crank the shower handle. That’s out of place. So I can take a shower. There was no maintenance or supervisor on staff. - [ ] Towels -two towels were stained one looked like a smear of blood dry blood that has been dried up it smelled horrible. - [ ] The continental breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had. From the rock-hard muffins and hard bagels, watery soggy cold scrambled eggs, limited oatmeal, packages only two at a time put out and if there’s mor

Positive: Location Negative: Spent the first night with no heat, the heater didn’t work, it was 35 degrees outside. The another night I got back and they didn’t even clean my room. Shower curtain and iron were broken. Holes in the walls. Very low quality hotel.

The shower was ridiculous. There was hardly no hot water, when it finally got hot it only stayed hot for a little bit and then was ice cold. The entire shower head spun in a circle. The shower had a yellow part all the way down it. Did not add up to the advertised pictures. The night staff are so rude and do not even know how to greet you when you walk in. Not friendly, not kind, won’t even smile or speak at volume you can understand. They took the hospitality right out of the hotel. Hallways smelled like smoke. Would not stay again. There were 11 lights out in the elevator and the doors do not stop even when someone or something is trying to stop it. Do not believe this is up to code.

We arrived at the hotel around 11 PM on Thursday night checked in at the front desk with the receptionist named Miss Dee who was super polite and very helpful. Made our way down to our room, which was room number 130 settled in for the night and within 30 minutes of arriving and settling into bed I started itching on my forearm that was against the headboard. I got about the bed seen. I had three bites on my arm, got to look and found a bedbug on the pillowcase made a video of it and took pictures of My arm. Went back to the front desk spoke with Miss Dee Again, she was super apologetic told us to go gather our stuff and she would get us another room. She gave me four Benadryl to take because my arm was itching so bad and she said she had notified the manager Mr. Carter and that I could ca

This is a nice hotel for the price. I found the bed comfortable, room was clean, quiet, yes the water took awhile to get hot (minus the star) but that didn't bother me. Friendly front desk and breakfast was decent. I would recommend this hotel.
