Residence Inn by Marriott Greenville Downtown

This hotel was a great place to stay! We stayed NYE. The rooms was nice, spacious and clean. We have been to the bar before for a drink and had a nice time. The hotel was equally as nice. Check in was smooth. The breakfast in the morning was probably ranked as the #1 breakfast I've had at a hotel ever. We love the seating in the lobby. The only thing that was off about our stay was that a cleaner knocked on the door at 9 am and then walked in because we didn't get to the door in time. We thought that was a little intrusive seeing check out was at noon and it was new years day. In any event that wasn't a big deal. Definitely will stay again if we need a place to stay for the night!

We had such a nice stay at the Residence Inn Downtown Greenville. The room was clean and roomy. Loved the walk-in shower, as well as the kitchenette that provides utensils, plates and cups/glasses, as well as a Keurig coffee maker. The complimentary breakfast was great, especially the waffles! The dining area is by far the largest and nicest of any other Residence Inn we have stayed at. The restaurant inside the hotel, Oak & Honey, was also a nice dining option for the evening, although it is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

The lobby and decor are beautiful and make a great first impression. The staff was excellent throughout the stay and provided friendly, attentive customer service.||The location is a major plus. It’s right in downtown Greenville and very walkable to restaurants, shops, and attractions.||There were a few downsides. Valet parking was confusing and not explained well. When you request your car through the valet app, it charges you for a full day, on top of the hotel’s daily valet fee. You should only be charged once, but this was not made clear until after I was already charged. The walls are also thin, and the showers are loud. I could clearly hear the room above me showering and could hear housekeeping noise as well.||Overall, it’s a nice hotel with a great staff and location, but clearer c

The property is absolutely beautiful, wow, the breakfast was great as well. The location is excellent and right in the heart of Greenville. But the service takes the cake, phenomenal customer service by Randy. She did an absolute amazing job from welcoming us from a far to setting us up on the top floor with a great view. She made our trip to this property well worth and we highly recommend it.

Service was above and beyond. It was full, but employees were not phased/cranky. Room was nice and clean. Pool looked nice. Was too cold to swim but they kept it open/running. The courtyard area was nice--many chairs and a couple of firepits. Everything was clean and well maintained. Location is near everything--walking distance Bon Secours arena. Parking is a bit pricey, but you can self-park on spring st.(across the street) for less. Streets seemed narrow to us. Would definitely stay again.
