Not worth it — roach infestation and poor conditions The front desk staff were very friendly, and I appreciated that the parking lot was well lit and had video camera coverage. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The first room I was offered was supposed to be non-smoking, but it smelled strongly of smoke. The second room was slightly better but still had a musty odor — and worst of all, there were roaches and other bugs everywhere. It was disgusting. They were fast so I couldn’t capture them all on camera. The air conditioner didn’t work properly, and I could hear every noise from outside due to poor soundproofing. People also stay here with their dogs so you can hear them barking. Overall, this was an uncomfortable and unpleasant stay. I would never stay here again. Defini

Very good I strongly suggest this hotel.

It's a budget hotel, and it's great if that's what you are wanting. The room was clean, which was nice. The location here in Greenville is also centrally located for traveling into the southern park and trails and north into downtown. Budget hotels, despite great renovations, have that 20 year old filtered cigarette smoke smell. Not quite enough to stick to your clothes, but enough to bother your nose. This hotel was sadly no different in that regard. If that doesn't bother you, again this was centrally located between many of the great places in Greenville and the price is fantastic.

The Front Desk Clerk was amazing!! She was very friendly and actually seemed like she liked her job! Very Good customer service! 5 Stars just for her alone!

We chose Red Roof on booking.com because they were the most affordable and also had extended stay option available. However we did not expect that the service, cleanliness of the rooms, amenities and grounds would be that of a 5 star hotel. We can’t say enough how comfortable and wonderful they made our stay. They are a family owned business and it shows in the care and commitment they make to their guests during their stay. We will be back. Thank you for making everything so nice while we were here.
