Aloft Greenville Downtown

Great location and value. Solid staff. Nice amenities. The city sounds were louder than I would have expected on the 9th floor. My only complaint was with how the room was set up. My family stayed the night, all four of us, in one room sharing the two beds. For some reason, whoever designed these rooms thought it would be a good idea to have a frosted glass window between the sleeping area and the shower. This means, if someone takes a shower with the lights on, the bedroom is essentially fully lit. Makes zero sense. I do not want to count this against the hotel in my review because it may not apply to everybody. That being said if Google allowed for a reading out of 10 stars I would give it a 9 based on this issue.

Was in town for a conference and opted to stay here as it is a Marriott property. Great location, walkable to shops, restaurants and other venues in the area. All staff was friendly and helpful. Great that the bar stays open late and serves food til 11. Many local.restaurants closed at 9. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

We have stayed here several times in the last 4 years. It's convenient, pet friendly, affordable,and within walking distance of downtown sites and restaurants. However, as a Marriott rewards member, it did not allow us to use current accumulated points to upgrade or towards room rate. Instead, it required us to buy more points to upgrade or contribute towards room rate payment.

My husband and I are a young couple that decided to take a spontaneous trip to Greenville and this hotel was just perfect. We loved all of the hotel staff, they were all fantastic. Nicholas was especially sweet and made us feel so welcomed! The hotel had great drinks at the bar and a lovely balcony to drink them on. The hotel is so dog friendly and we just love that! Not to mention the adoption program! We will definitely be staying here when we visit again!

Great service, food and the perfect location for food and shopping! Main street is within steps from the first floor door! We loved that! The rooms were nice and clean, we would stay again. The only 2 drawbacks to the the room was the bathroom light and there is no microwave. There is a cute elongated window that connects the bedroom area to the bathroom and if someone goes to the throne in the middle of the night or early morning that light will make you think you are on your way to heaven if you are still asleep. Other than that every thing was really nice. They have some type of music entertainment every night, games and a bar.
