The campground is beautiful, surrounded by redwood and other trees. We booked a group campsite on the corner which had a lot of privacy. It was serene and stunning with lots of space. The camp hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. They set up the wood fire for us to start with. We bought a couple of bundles to have enough for the night. The campground is 15 minutes from fort Bragg which is convenient for grocery shopping, yet far away so that you won’t hear any city noise. The flush bathrooms are clean with soap and water. There is a short hiking trail on the campsite. Campsites closer to the entrance were accessible through a paved road whereas some campsites like ours was accessible partially through dirt road that was easily drivable by an SUV, maybe a sedan would go as well.

We were warmly welcomed at check-in, but the management could do more to handle noisy guests. The campsite next to us parked three cars (it wasn’t a group site—are that many people allowed?). They played loud music until midnight and talked loudly until 3 a.m. The most worrying part was that someone walked very close to our tent—just a step or two away—and circled around it a few times between 1 and 2 a.m. It felt quite unsafe. The management can do better to ensure guests have a peaceful night to enjoy.

Vicky and the team were Great with a warm welcome and delivery of firewood right to our campsite on arrival! The campsite was clean and the fire pit was pre-laid with kindling for an easy fire start after arriving just @ sundown. There were a number of RVs in the campground but the campsites are private and nestled in the Redwoods - so quiet and peaceful at night that you could hear the owls in the forest and the ocean and Ft Bragg foghorn to put you to sleep @ night.||The location could not be better - secluded and quiet, yet just a few minutes to the harbor and town, with Mendocino another 15 mins down Rt 1. The showers and bathrooms were clean and well lit. It is clear that this campground is well maintained and cared-for.||We will be back on our next visit to the Mendocino coast.

We brought our RV and stayed for 4 days. We were greeted warmly, someone was waiting to greet us and lead us to our site, and they even helped us park our trailer. The campground is in a beautiful setting and it’s a very quiet location. We can’t wait until our next visit!

We love our extended stay at Wildwood. We have a spacious space, picnic table and fire pit. Our trailer fits in perfectly and has shade and sun. There are restrooms and showers here also. You can go on a hike on location in the beautiful redwoods. Today's pics of hike.
