Mendocino Cove

Mendocino Cove is such a beautiful property. The location alone is incredible, tucked between the redwoods with easy access to a quiet, beautiful beach. Our room was absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had that simple coastal chic vibe that makes you instantly relax. Service was excellent, we had everything we needed and more! We spent a lot of time on the pickleball courts, which were in great shape, and loved how peaceful the whole property felt. It’s the kind of place where you can actually slow down, enjoy the scenery, and feel away from everything. We left wishing we had booked a longer stay and are already talking about coming back when they finish the wellness center. Highly recommend!

I spent one lovely, relaxing night at The Mendocino Cove Resort last week. Our check-in was easy, our room was beautifully decorated in a tasteful, understated way, the bed was comfortable, and the complimentary coffee and tea were tasty. When we checked out, we were delighted and amazed to see a large number of pickleball courts, with many avid players going at it. My pickleball-playing friends can't wait to check it out. This was a romantic place to unwind from a busy day. I highly recommend it.

This new hotel is adorable! Very well done and eloquent. Excellent location, nestled between Mendocino and Fort Bragg and right off the HWY, but you can’t see or hear it. Private beach access and numerous pickle ball courts! Bedding is European style, duvet with no sheets. Normally I’m down with this, but as a woman of a certain age, not having a sheet to cool down with was a challenge. My only small complaint. Can’t wait to return and see the full hotel when it’s done.

A relatively new resort between Mendocino and Fort Bragg. The rooms are good sized and very fresh, pickleball courts on-site, beautiful grounds with a fire pit, and the walkable beach is spectacular. Extremely dog friendly with an on-site fenced in dog park and the room came with a dog bed and bowls. Last but not least, the staff was super friendly and check-in was a breeze.

We stayed for one now as we were driving down the coast. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. They advertise the bedding they use on their website and I have it pinned for next time we need things! The front desk person was very kind and turned up the heat in our room before we arrived so it would be warm. Such a great experience.
