Western Inn

The rooms are clean and the water pressure was great. We broke down on the interstate and they gave us a ride to the auto repair shop the next morning. We were very happy with the room and the price and friendly service was great. Thank you Western inn we will see you again!

This is by far the dirtiest, filthiest motel I have ever stayed at. I left the first room because the bedding and bathroom were just nasty. I asked for a different room and the second was only slightly better. They refused to give you your money back, despite spending a whole 15 minutes in their establishment. This place doesn’t deserve one star. The only bright spot was the front desk clerk was polite and pleasant, but that certainly doesn’t make up for the overall condition of their property or just the overwhelming filth in their rooms.

The place is a total dive but it’s half the price of all the other hotels in town. I was traveling through by myself and wanted a cheap place to sleep for the night so no big deal. My room had a flat screen TV with plenty of channels, good a/c, tile floors, and was overall clean. Bed just has sheets and one of those cheap covers most hotel use, NO towels, no shampoo just a sealed bar of soap. The after-hours check in (I checked in at 8pm) is from the outside behind bulletproof glass and you had to exchange things via a metal box (think of a bank). They still use actual keys, no microwave, fridge, and the ice machine was down.

One of the worst hotel experiences that I have ever had. Our reservation wasn't found an ended up paying more for one less bed than I had reserved the room for. In addition, they wanted a $10 cash key deposit per key. I had no cash on me, as I wa paying with credit card. There were roaches all over the place, and a used wash cloth hanging from the shower curtain bar. The toilet was loose, and felt like it was going to tip over. The shower drain didn't work well, and the tub filled with water as I was showering. We found a woman's earring by the bed, and the was only on electrical outlet available for guests to use. Stayed here to attend the Renaissance Festival. The rooms face outdoors, but into an enclosed area behind the lobby. Next door is a restaurant, a bingo parlor and a racetrack station with a frozen yogurt shop. The place is a good deal if you only need a place to sleep. The rooms are clean (I really like the tile flooring), but have no refrigerators or microwaves, and the ice machine was broken this week. The Western Inn is pet-friendly and allows pets at $25 per pet per night. The staff was friendly and made check-in and check-out as smooth as possible. It's not luxurious, but if you have plans for the day, it's a fine place to rest.
