Courtyard by Marriott Hammond

Lemme tell ya, the staff at the front desk makes this place! Brianna (I hope I spelled it right) you in particular turned what started as a frustrating day/stay into a pleasant one. You welcomed us into that place like we was old friends. Made both my daughter and myself feel like we were wanted there. I have absolutely zero complaints about any of the staff! Even when we came in the last night feeling (and looking) like hot trash becasue we just got done hauling shrimp and crabs from the bayou to my parents house, we got a very friendly "welcome back". Thank you guys so much for the southern hospitality. As far as the rooms go, they were clean but they could definitely use a little updating. Some of the furniture had some cosmetic imperfections and the drawer to the table between the bed

Terrible experience at this hotel. I’ve never left a bad review but this deserves it. They won’t clean a room, you get 1 towel a room, front desk is not helpful, fire pit doesn’t work. I attempted to ask for towels 4 times and kept getting a run around. The iron doesn’t work. Total mess trying to have multiple people in a room and get ready for a wedding. Never recommend staying at this place

Positive: The location Negative: The couch was stained in multiple spots. Shower floors so discolored and dirty we put a towel down to shower and while I was shower they was a roach crawling on the inside of the glass

I'm doing this review a bit late, but did not want to let this go. I was traveling from Austin to Florida and this was my first night's stay. I am a longtime Bonvoy member and love my Courtyards. I will say while I don't remember my room that well I do remember that it was clean and consistent with the brand. What I do remember is that I was greeted by Tyronica who stuck out as friendly and welcoming for my quick stay. I wanted to express a thank you for being a perfect greeting when I arrived around 11pm or so after a long drive.

Savannah at the front desk was absolutely amazing! She greeted me with such a warm, welcoming attitude and made check in super easy. She went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and answered all my questions with a smile. You can tell she really cares about her guests and enjoys what she does. Definitely one of the friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever met. She made my stay at The Courtyard by Marriott in Hammond a great experience!
