Days Inn by Wyndham Hammond

The room was ok. The pillows are folded in half on the pillow case so they seem tiny. I asked about it the next morning and was told they do it to look better. Problem is I was so tired I didn't even think to check and hence the pillow situation made it uncomfortable. The breakfast selection was minimal. There was cereal, grits, instant oatmeal, bread and muffins. There was no protein like yogurt or eggs. No fruit.

The lady at check-in was great. The room had a bad smell upon opening the door. The couch is stained and one of the cushions is torn up. The bed is too firm and I didn’t sleep well. Don’t expect to eat breakfast because it’s non existent but there is coffee and hot water.

I had to do some business in town and decided try the Days Inn. The location is right after going through a roundabout. You have to turn in to the right right next to a walkup bbq spot.|I've been to Days Inn in other cities where things were a bit run down. This one was not that. Rooms are clean. Had a pleasant smell when I walked inside. It's not a super brand new location. But you can tell it's being well maintained.||Vending machines worked. Ice machine worked. And there was a dryer and washer in same room as vending machines. Vending machines are touch to pay.||Grounds were very well maintained and super well lit. It backs up to a truckstop. You can walk to the truckstop a few steps away to get drinks,snacks, etc. There is an Iron Skillet diner built into the truckstop. You can also t
