Holiday Inn Hammond by IHG

Service was friendly. but when it came to the breakfast I paid extra for, I could have stayed in a cheaper hotel and gotten a better free continental breakfast. One label said French toast and when you flipped the lid it was grits. No french toast at all on the buffet. Another said seasoned potatoes. It was patty style hashbrowns. Could have gotten better ones at McDonald's. All im saying is if you are going to charge extra for your breakfast at least label it right. Instead of getting people's hopes up. Probably wont stay at that hotel again. Definitly wont get the breakfast.

This is one of the worst IHG hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Filthy stained carpet in our room. Desk chair torn and ripped. My service dog found a used band aid and was chewing on it. 🤢 I expect more from this brand. I won’t stay here ever again.

I can’t say nothing but good things about this place. Rooms are always clean and fresh. Thank you cleaning staff, I really appreciate all of you and the hard work you do to make us feel at home while away from home working. You all are the unspoken superhero’s. But the shining stars of this place is the front desk staff. Jakob always greets us with a smile and by name. He is one of the friendliest staff members. Melissa is always smiling and exceptionally friendly and knows us by name as well. And Ciara always greets us in the lobby first thing in the morning. She is a little ray of sunshine to start the day off with. Oh and let’s not forget about the bartender Trey. He seems to always be in a good mood even when he shuts down the bar late at night and there for breakfast at 6:30 AM some m

The rooms need work. I found what I think is mold in the bathroom and the bathroom is falling apart. It didn't feel great taking a shower. I wish they would have made it more clear that they do not have free breakfast. I was under the impression that it was free because of what the hotel booking website said. But after going to their actual website it is clearly not free. I'm a bit disappointed because I could have paid about the same amount of money across the street and would have gotten a better deal.
