Colonial Inn Hammond

Colonial Inn in Hammond has clean rooms and the best service in Hammond at a very low price. You need to stay there once and you will keep coming back. Johnny is always there making sure the motel is running smoothly. It is important to him that the people staying there get the best service . He is a very kind, caring, smart young man, that takes his job very seriously. He is very professional. His mother, father and wife works there also and they are very good at their jobs. They are very involved with the running of the motel making sure everyone has what they need. I can only say good things about Johnny, his family and the motel. ❤️ Colonial Inn is very fortunate to have him as the manager over the motel. 🙂

I read reviews on this motel & saw the tip to ask for side away from truck stop. Room was clean & spacious & air conditioner worked good. Seemed to be a family run motel. There was a small laundromat available & a good looking continental breakfast available although we did not eat. I saw waffles, cereal, Sweet rolls, bagels, eggs & gravy & orange juice. That’s all I noticed but may have been more. Looks better inside than outside & you can park right in front of your room. Room was clean, quiet & comfortable. I would stay again||If I go that direction.

Surprisingly nice place! My room was clean, the noise level (there's a truck takeoff and landing runway RIGHT next door) was certainly tolerable and the employees I ran into were pretty nice! At this price, I definitely can recommend this basic, older but well maintained motel.

Positive: Close to store. Negative: I asked for help with working the TV and they don't help or give advice

It's my second stay. Never seen a bug. I always get smoking so rooms are a little beat up but nice. Always clean. I recommend online reservation for price. Roaming guard all night and he's very polite.
