Customer Reviews
I stayed here two nights last Winter when my accommodations in Great Barrington were delayed. It's a clean, no frills hotel, well priced with comfortable beds and friendly service. I was out here on business for four nights we had a mix up reservations elsewhere. I will note that my business partners room smelled of smoke and he asked to change it and they accommodated no issues. While the rooms were clean, they were also quite dated. The wall paper in my room needed replacement. That said it was 1/3 of the price where we spent the final two days of our trip. I was sorry to learn it burned in a fire. Hopefully they rebuild.
So for a 2 and 1/2 star ✨ property I was actually blown away. How neat tidy orderly and clean the beds were (as long as you don't lick the walls, light switches or thermostat buttons, you'll be fine) I didn't include any photos or videos for one. I used my ultraviolet UV black light because the most important part, the beds and the toilet and the shower came back more or less 100% completely clean 🫧🧼 For $75 or $80, the only things that were really wrong with the room. Most notably, it looks like somebody punched the television and ripped the door off the mini fridge. Everything else was completely fine. As I said, there was some weird stuff on the wallpaper, specifically around light switches or thermostat buttons. Or you know things you would expect people to touch, but as long as you'r
Nice staff makes you feel like you part of the family. Great service great location stores all around.
I rarely leave reviews but this place was truly awful. While I knew the end room was going to be small, I did not know that the tub was quite literally taking up half of the room. Despite the room being listed as non-smoking, the entire room smelled foul of cigarettes. The wallpaper is quite literally peeling off the walls and there are bare spots where the plaster had not been repaired. We were in town for a concert and this was close to the venue. However the limited time I spent sleeping in the room was enough to eliminate a future stay. I recognize that it was a holiday weekend, vacancies are scarce and rates are inflated, but I highly recommend you find something nicer.
Years ago this place was wonderful but not now. Strong smoke smell in the room, overlaid by a chemical smell. The king-sized bed had a big caved-in section on one side. The blanket was filthy and had burn holes in it. The bathroom knob wasn't working properly. And we were charged $150 each night for Thursday and Friday.
