Chesapeake Inn of Lenox

Could not be a more convenient place to stay when attending an event at Tanglewood, where one entrance is practically across the street. John was a kind, thoughtful host, and let us check in a bit early so we could make the performance. Lovely house, clean room, and incredibly quiet. Let him know what you want for breakfast the night before and whatever time you want to have it, and he's prepared. 100% would stay again.

Hospitality at the hotel is superb. The owner John will do anything to make sure you're comfortable, including making breakfast to order MN The rooms are cozy but a bit outdated.

The Chesapeake Inn is conveniently located to Tanglewood, maybe a 10-15 minute walk at the most. This is a big "plus" given you will not have to be stuck in traffic going to and leaving Tanglewood. The room was comfortable, a queen size bed, no TV in the room, but wifi is available. For those with knee or walking issues, there is one room on the main floor but be sure to specify this when reserving a room. John was very friendly and helpful; there was a modest barbecue Saturday evening before the performance and a filling breakfast in the morning. You are provided a list of available breakfast items (there are dozens of items on the list) and John prepares each meal to the individual's tastes. All in all, we had a very relaxing time at the Inn and easily can recommend the Inn to others.

I was in the area for training for work and stayed a couple nights here. The homeowner was very nice and friendly and also informative about the area. The inn itself is a nice house that has been updated and had a full, private bath in my bedroom. There was wifi access provided which was helpful. There's plenty of parking, just outside of Lenox center, and easy to find. I would stay here again in the future and I would recommend this to anyone staying in the area.
