I booked this resort to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Clean rooms! At arrival, I was met with the best employee in the property(the southern gentlemen whose name escapes me) … Massages were amazing, I did a leg and lower body massage that was delightful. The wife did a full scalp treatment. The beaver excursion was very informative. But the dinning host was horrendous. We arrive for dinner, she informed us that we needed to reserve (which I had forgotten with all of the stresses of life). She says she can’t help us, even though there were plenty of open seating. I asked to speak for someone with a higher authority to which she agreed to reluctantly, while on the way to get her superior she tells her coworker “and this is a grown man acting like this”. To which I say, acting like what?
I was skeptical at first going to a pricey all-inclusive spa. I wanted to be in a place where I could unwind but also be engaged with learning new things. To my surprise, I had the best time at Miraval Berkshires; even the 'Family week' didn't deter my enjoyment. My husband decided to join me at the last minute and we both loved the experience. The all-inclusive (AND no tipping policy!) really allows you to enjoy yourself. The facilities are incredible, especially the indoor lap pool and the classes fun and introductory. The meals are wonderful and healthy...you can have as much as or as little as you want. The staff and instructors were all friendly and helpful. Some critiqued the wait staff at the restaurant...everyone is human, but the important thing here is their positive attitude and
Spent the weekend celebrating my bday & my friend’s bday there and had an amazing time! The property was pristine, my room was spacious, the programming and classes were great, and the staff was kind, helpful, attentive. I was skeptical about the food but was wowed and pleasantly surprised!!!! Everything was locally sourced, healthy and delicious!!!! Some of my favorite classes were with Nick: the Stepped in History Tea class, Oysters & Bubbles were the highlights of my trip. As for fitness classes, I LOVED Cardio Drumming and Boga Fit. If you’re considering staying here, just do it! So worth it
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A place to pause, reflect, and reset Visited in late February during an unexpected snowstorm — the property blanketed in 2-3 inches of fresh snow made for a stunning arrival. Miraval sits on a sprawling estate in Lenox, MA, with historic charm (especially the southern manor) and all the facilities you'd expect: spa, pool, gym, golf course, and barn. Service is the real standout — easily among the best I've encountered in North America. Genuinely warm, proactive, and never performative. Tarot instructor Jan is an absolute must; highly recommend booking her session. Food is health-focused and locally sourced — nothing extraordinary, but the kombucha at the self-serve station alone is worth a mention. To set expectations honestly: this isn't the place for five-star luxury (Tokyo/Paris P
We had such an incredible experience at Miraval. Booked it as a last minute anniversary celebration while I was 8 months pregnant. We stayed at the renovated section of the building, which was gorgeous. The attention to the detail of the food prep was phenomenal - the whole wheat croissants, homemade kombucha, the amount of seeds, unusual combinations, sugar-free desserts, grab and go cafe… it was all so perfectly executed with wellness in mind. The massage and the spa were outstanding. Activities, such as kayaking was amazing, instructional classes were ok, a lot of them lacked the depth that I was looking for, but in general this stay was a great mix of activities, great food and beautiful grounds.
