Tru by Hilton Kansas City Airport

I was pleasantly surprised by my first visit to A TRU by Hilton property. The room was quite large and very clean the beds were soft and comfortable pillows plenty of pillows three pillows per bed the bathroom was well supplied with clean towels and washcloths plenty of soap and product who is a comfortable chair and desk in the room large screen TVs Electric blackout blinds on the window the breakfast was amazing everything you'd want oatmeal with almonds brown sugar and cranberries there were omelettes along with kielbasa sausage there were hard-boiled eggs there were fresh bagels and a toaster I did not try the automatic pancake maker the fresh orange juice was great in the coffee is just as good as Hampton Inn the price of little cheaper, I highly recommend this hotel

After a 12 1/2 hr drive, I chose this hotel for the night based on tripadvisor reviews, price, location and that it was a new hotel. And I was completely disappointed. We arrived around 9:30pm and Stefani at the front desk made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by making her do her actual job, checking me in. She barely spoke to me, just handed me my room key. She was annoyed that I asked her why the preauthorization was the amount that it was, which was higher than expected. She was annoyed that I asked about water. She was annoyed that I asked about a luggage cart for our suitcases. I've stayed at hundreds of hotels and I've never had someone make me feel like I was a bother for a routine hotel room check-in process at the front desk. I sure did NOT feel welcome here. NEW, spotless, and convenient. Clean, comfortable and perfect location for the airport. Just 8 minutes away. Shuttle runs every 30 mins until midnight and Uber is like 20 bucks. Breaksfast is just fine, but average for any hotel at this price point. Gym is small but well equipped.

I can't day enough great things about this place. Rooms were clean modern and very awesome. Wireless charging for phones which was an awesome thing. Staff was polite and helpful with anything and everything you could ask. When checking out noticed the cleaning crew cleaning rooms. Had the beds and frames moved in order to fully clean the rooms. Something that was very impressive to me. They were doing an excellent job to maintain not only cleanliness. But, also providing great stewardship of keeping the hotel looking awesome. 10 out of 10 would book this place again.

We stayed at your beautiful facility on Tuesday December 30th 2025 and checked out on Wednesday Jan 1st 2026. The breakfast was exceptional, and the room was very comfortable. Kudos goes out to Connor who went over and beyond his call of duty. He was amazing and answered every question that I had this young man deserves a raise. There’s not many young people out there anymore who takes pride in their job, but you could tell Connor does.!! Great job Connor and if we ever travel that way again, we will be sure to use our hotel. Happy new year to you all especially Connor.!! A very satisfied customer
