Residence Inn by Marriott Kansas City Airport

From the start of my check-in which happened to be around midnight, the gentleman who checked us in was extremely pleasant he engaged in conversation, gave us suggestions of things to do in the area since we were going to be there over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The main lobby was decorated beautiful, once we got to our room. I was so impressed with the well basically apartment a whole kitchen with everything you would need. It was so convenient that we were able to cook in our room and everything was supplied. The pool area was nice. The outside area was nice although we didn’t utilize it I could see it had something for everyone. I stayed three nights when there for a gathering of BTS fans. Unlike most attending, I needed a room for just myself, and for the rate we were offered, but for a couple of housekeeping issues, my room was exceptional. Though I did not specify the need for an ADA compliant room, I was pleased to be placed in one, as I do have some minor mobility issues. I really appreciated the walk in shower with hand held shower head. |There are two large windows in this room, both covered by power drapes. I was unable to open the drapes in the sitting/living area. I reported the problem the morning after my first night. First, let me start by saying the hotel staff was amazing. I was immediately greeted by Toby, the assistant manager, who went above and beyond to make the check-in process quick and easy. She was assisted by Christy at the front desk, who was just as warm and helpful. These two women truly made my stay comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfy. The water pressure in the shower was decent, and the kitchen came stocked with most of the essentials. Breakfast was fine, but the best part of breakfast was Kaitlyn. She was kind, attentive, and constantly working hard to keep everything stocked and guests happy. She absolutely deserves a raise. Positive: The room was perfect for my family and the hotel overall was very quiet, clean, and has a good atmosphere. Negative: The breakfast stopped being served at 10 on the weekend, but around 9:30 staff was already putting it away. There was some kind of glitch or malfunction with the electrical sockets in the room and my devices wouldn?t charge properly.

This place was great. Clean, super friendly staff. Good breakfast. We picked it because we wanted a microwave. The room was big and roomy. Very comfy. I would definitely stay here again next time we are going to KC.
