Tru by Hilton Jacksonville West I 295

Great hotel. Very clean, friendly staff. Loved the pool table in the lobby. |The rooms were just the right size.|Also, have a market for snacks that are reasonably priced. |Close to the highway but not so close you hear the highway noise. |Breakfast in the morning was pretty good. Went late so not as fresh.|The overall atmosphere was very friendly, cozy and welcoming. It is a newer hotel which makes it especially nice.

Dan at the front desk was a breath of fresh air after a long, stressful drive. We love Tru hotels because they’re pet-friendly, and overall my stay was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, I didn’t get much sleep. The rooms facing the road are extremely loud, with traffic and trucks passing by throughout the night. If you’re a light sleeper, I highly recommend requesting a room away from the road.

My room and bathroom were both clean, quite, and comfortable. I slept very well, and have no complaints about the room. HOWEVER!!! Breakfast was absolutely pathetic! Just some powdered eggs, and mostly cooked bacon. No biscuits, no gravy, no yogurt, in general it was extremely disappointing. I have had a better breakfast at much worse hotels. It is unlikely that I will spend company money here again.

Positive: Clean and colorful. Feels good place. Rooms well appointed with all amenities. Pillows and beds super comfy. Free coffee station in lobby. Cute info board, mini mart in lobby, gym, water fountain to fill our water bottles, fresh fruits at breakfast. Negative: Ran out of boiled eggs and pancake machine was out of order. Other than that it is a great place for the price.

I arrive late around 2 AM. I was still able to check in. Of course I gave them a courtesy call. There was no issues. The experience was definitely a five star experience. Very clean smell good professional customer service. I’ll stay there again.
