Tru by Hilton Jacksonville South Mandarin

Kathy and Mary at the front desk are top notch. They were so nice at check in and kept checking on us throughout our stay. I didn't catch the man's name that runs the breakfast, because he was literally running around making sure everything was stocked and that people were happy with the food. It was delicious. We loved the pancakes. The hotel and room was very clean. The beds were so soft. They gave us the best couple of nights sleep. The stand up shower was nice with plenty of hot water. The AC blasts cold air, it was lovely. We will always stay here from now on when visiting Jacksonville.

We had a delightful stay here on a visit to attend a friend’s party. The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shops. The rooms are comfortable and there is breakfast provided in the morning. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. ||I left something in the room on departure and the General Manager, Sergey Tankanyan, personally went out of his way to arrange for the items to be shipped to my home. I was very impressed by their commitment to the satisfaction of their guest.

We stayed at this hotel for one night while driving from New Jersey to Key West. The location was very convenient, just off I-95, and we appreciated that it is dog-friendly. Unfortunately, our first room (211) had an overwhelming pet odor and would benefit from a full refresh, as it was uncomfortable to stay in. Thankfully, Mary at the front desk was extremely helpful and promptly reassigned us to a different room, which was much better. Breakfast was included, which was nice, though fairly average. The bed and pillows were also just okay. Overall, it worked for a quick overnight stop, and we were grateful for the helpful and responsive staff.

Positive: The room was unique in design and had a very large tv selection Negative: The location of the entrance is a little out of the way.

Enjoyed breakfast watching fresh pancakes being made. There were also a lot of great accessibility features - our fam had a couple rooms, one where we requested an accessible room (see shower pics where it had a true roll in shower) but even the other room still had a door unlike so many other hotels, which is often helpful. And while we didn't use the pool, we did not there was a lift.
