TownePlace Suites by Marriott Sumter

I have stayed multiple times long term at this location and this hotel is nothing short of excellent!!! The Manager, Assitant Manager, Staff and house keepers are all amazing human beings and truly dedicated to making you have the best long term stay in Sumter. The rooms are great too, and the hotel provides many of the essentials to eat at home while you’re on the road. Would recommend Towneplace Suits to anyone looking for a long term stay in Sumter. Did I mention it’s pet friendly.

Newest and cleanest hotel in Sumter! Perfect for a long term stay. Free breakfast, free laundry machines, and stove tops in the rooms. They have air fryers, crockpots, blenders, etc. for rent at the desk. We loved the grill & smoker provided. We loved that we could grill steaks and enjoy the lovely fire pit table outside. This place has everything you can think of, plus amazing staff! Our room was spotless and everything looks brand new.

This is a clean, nicely designed, hotel that looks and feels new. The parking lot is very well lit.

Secure building, welcoming staff, clean, well thought out rooms. The location is convenient to everything in the Sumter area. Would definitely stay here again if the front desk staff is still here—intelligent, aware of who the long term guests are and those of us staying for less than a week. A great stay.

I had to stay here for 6 months because of my job. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They definitely try their best to make this place feel like home. The kitchenette has almost everything you need. The single king bedrooms are a little small but the double queen bedrooms are quite spacious. The location is pretty good. It is located on the main road and nothing is too far away. They have a nice outdoor seating area with a grill and fire pit to hang out. The parking lot is inconveniently placed making it a little more difficult to get in and out. I like to keep my room pretty toasty but the heater doesn’t maintain the temperature very well. Overall this place is good for a month or two but for longer stays like mine, I would try to get something with a bigger kitchen and living
