TownePlace Suites by Marriott Baltimore BWI Airport

I made a reservation through the Marriott app for a two-bedroom suite at TownePlace Suites BWI for Valentine’s weekend (February 14, 2026). I was later notified that the suite was unavailable due to a system error. Vera, the onsite manager, provided exceptional customer service and arranged an upgraded rooms for my family. The accommodations were excellent, and my children and I were very pleased with the rooms. The check-in process was smooth, housekeeping was thorough, and the breakfast exceeded expectations. Overall, the staff demonstrated professionalism and attentiveness, and the quality of service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this property and would gladly stay here again.

The worst front desk 'service' that I have ever experienced in 30 years of travel... I had called to ensure that I could get a shuttle back to the hotel from BWI after a 1230am arrival. I was assured that the shuttle would be made available if I called when I had my luggage. I called and was advised by Cheeron that the shuttle was there on time and left when I didn't show for 1am. I told her that I was there since 1255am, to which her response was that I was lying and that he would now not return until 130am. When the driver returned (an amazing gentleman named Chris), he told me that he had asked the front desk to call me to advise that he was there... Cheeron lied to him and said that she had called (she did not). Thank goodness I had checked in on the app as I did not want to share

We stayed at TownePlace Suites BWI for an extended stay and were disappointed with several aspects of the experience. First, the $20 per day incidental hold is excessive for a property marketed as a long-term stay hotel with kitchenettes. Over a 14-day stay, this resulted in a $280 hold, which feels unreasonable. Second, staff interaction was consistently poor. Throughout our stay, there were no basic courtesies such as “hello” or “good morning,” which made the environment feel unwelcoming. Third, snow and ice management in the parking lot was inadequate. After a snowstorm, it took over a week for the lot and walkways to become safe for walking and parking. I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious and comfortable. It had a kitchen area with a stove, fridge, coffe machine.... There was also an iron and ironing board, which helped a lot during my trip. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and quiet, perfect for relaxing or working. The breakfast didn’t have a huge variety, but the food was good and fresh. It was enough to start the day well.
