Hyatt House BWI Airport / Baltimore

Had a phenomenal experience here! We got stuck in Baltimore after the lovely blizzard, and every single staff member we interacted with was incredibly kind. The room was nice and we had a nice time staying here, built in smart tv was a plus! Complimentary breakfast was decent, and a nice selection of purchasable snacks! Only complaints on room was water pressure in the shower sucked, and our key cards both lost access for whatever reason. Didn’t bother to fix them since one of us was always in the room, but would have been easy to should we have decided to. Great experience overall, and again, phenomenal staff!! 10/10 would be stuck here during a blizzard again.

Hyatt House is a new, clean and spacious airport semi high rise hotel (7 stories) with limited services designed for longer stays. The parking/shuttle to BWI is reasonably priced and shuttle drivers are friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping is excellent, and the front desk employees are helpful although their presence can be spotty (e.g. don’t rely on them to be at the desk late at night or when you have an issue like the digital keys not working). The other negative is that the lobby and breakfast area decor and furnishings are so sparse and modern as to seem clinical - more like a medical office/cafeteria. Modern can still exude warmth with wood and area rugs, perhaps a thoughtful fresh fruit display or nice tray of croissants and muffins at the breakfast buffet instead of an acrylic

We stayed at Hyatt House BWI for three weeks during a water removal phase for my homeowner insurance claim. I really loved the hotel and even recommended it to friends—until the end. We started in a small basic room, which was fine, but once my insurance upgraded us to a suite, I liked it even more— full kitchen, apartment feel. The cleaning staff was very kind though we communicated with gestures due to language barriers. Until…. The last days were frustrating. Four days before checkout, we lost power—over two hours to fix. The night before leaving, the heater failed on a snowy night. I kept calling for over three hours, always being told “someone would be there shortly,” only to learn the maintenance person was also the shuttle driver and is too busy with his driver duties. Positive: The hotel and my room were very clean. There was no rust in the bathroom (like I've seen in other 'luxury' hotels) No peeling paint or wallpaper. I was very pleased with how clean and comfortable the room was. Also, the staff was very friendly! Negative: The only suggestion I have is to add a handle inside the shower door to make it easier to close.

We stay at the Hyatt House BWI at least twice per month (averaging more than 5 days monthly). On this last stay our accommodations were paid for at a different hotel. However, because that hotel was far below the standards of Hyatt, we chose to pay for our accommodations at Hyatt House. Jasmine, manager, and Harold, overnight staff, are two of the most phenomenal people. They make our stays extremely pleasant. Thank you for having such great people. Cleanliness and staff are the reasons we repeatedly use this hotel. Unfortunately, we are extremely disappointed and disturbed by the housekeeping policy. The fact the Hyatt no longer provides daily housekeeping is problematic. One of the reasons we choose hotels and not AirBNB accommodations is because of the regular cleaning. For the prices t
