Sheraton Baltimore Washington Airport Hotel - BWI

My wife and I stayed here as Platinum members and had a very disappointing experience with a late checkout request and how it was handled by management. We requested a 4 p.m. late checkout in the app when check-in, as we usually do, and in the past most Marriott properties have acknowledged this at check‑in and either confirmed or adjusted it. On this stay, no one at the front desk mentioned our request, but we reasonably assumed the note in the app would be seen and honored. On the next morning of checkout, around 8 a.m., we sent another message through the app to reconfirm 4 p.m. Only then were we told there was no availability and that our stay could not be extended, yet we were also offered a late checkout for an extra 50 dollars, which made the “availability” explanation feel inconsis

After a long international flight, being very tired, called twice to get a shuttle. 1st time their shuttle drove by someone yelling out the window "we're full". Had to wait again. Hotel had two shuttles. Only 1 running. Had to wait to check-in. One attendant at the desk. While waiting the phone must have rang five times, people waiting for the shuttle. Early check-out for us and a family needed a shuttle. Next two were booked full. Attendant told her to call an Uber. Huge hotel, what is the problem, hire more people especially for peak times. We would not stay here again just because of this issue.

I've recently started staying here consistently as I commute to work at BWI airport. I've stayed now maybe almost ten times and after shopping around with other hotels near BWI I believe I've found my spot here at the Sheraton. I feel very safe parking my car here. The grounds are well kept and the rooms have always been clean. I travel for work weekly and stay at tons of hotel chains and so far every stay has been just fine here! The AC units work great and don't rattle. That is surprisingly a big issue for me and very important. Lol Only note is the fridges in the rooms could be cooler/updated. Thank you. Scott at the front desk is very cool and very helpful. I'm not sure if he's the manager but he def should be. He is also super efficient and checks folks in quickly and when I'm tire

I hate to score this location poorly however I must because my vehicle was vandalized (theft) while being a guest. All four wheels were stolen from my car. The back lot does not have cameras. This hotel is close to BWI which is nice but don’t risk it if you are driving a vehicle . Thankfully a nice airline pilot saw the tail end of the theft and was nice enough to provide a statement to my insurance. Overall stay away from hotels that don’t have valet or security in this area. Police came within 5-10 mins and said a Honda Pilot at another hotel close by had the same thing happen.

Many hotels in this area have a boring corporate feel, but this one is a bit more cozy, with a nice view out back and lounge on the first floor. Ask for a room facing the back for a nice view! We had a wedding block at this hotel and could not have been happier with the Sheraton. They were very accommodating setting up the room blocks and making a few modifications that we had to. During our stay, all if the staff were very nice in little ways. We felt very welcomed there as did our guests.
