The Westin Baltimore Washington Airport - BWI

We arrived at the hotel on Friday night and went to their restaurant called luminous restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and we went to the bar to get drinks. My dad loves the way the bartender Bella made his Manhattan. She did a phenomenal job and my dad‘s been drinking Manhattans for over 40 years and usually it’s not happy with the service. He calls this a five star restaurant and bar. Bella was amazing.

The most positive aspect of our stay was the check-in. The two employees at the front desk were very friendly. That was about the extent of anything good to say. When we got to our room, we noticed there was no laundry bag nor was there a telephone in the room. We had to use our cellphones to call the front desk because the QR code for the $17/night parking was not working. Paying to park in an uncovered parking lot is absolutely ridiculous when you are patronizing a business. The room would randomly cool after a while and we would have to get up and adjust the thermostat. It is March and the temps are still cool at night. To Anthony Cpuano, CEOMarriott:||I am a loyal Bonvoy member and spend north of $100k per year with Marriott personally and by my company. I was dropped off by my driver at the hotel. The driver didn't park and returned hours later to pick me up. ||Today I got a "Courtesy note" from the hotel's parking vendor. They have an open lot not a garage. The letter demands a $75 payment for an $18 dollar parking charge. They also threaten to impound my vehicle and report me to credit agencies. ||I went to the website listed on the threatening "Courtesy Note" and reviewed the posted pictures. The hotel was wonderful but Christopher was the highlight. I was so stressed because I was actually stuck in Baltimore overnight because my flight was cancelled due to the snow storm! Christopher was so nice and went above and beyond with his customer service. My fiancé had booked the room for me and Christopher got it all squared away by the time I got to the hotel so I could check in quickly and get something to eat since all I had was air plane pretzels all day! Christopher gives main character energy!
