Holiday Inn Express & Suites Baltimore - Bwi Airport North by IHG

I had a great stay at this hotel during a recent business trip, and what stood out to me was the free breakfast and shuttle service. The complimentary breakfast was excellent it had options and everything was hot and fresh. It wasn’t just a basic grab-and-go setup. The free shuttle service was honestly one of the best parts of my stay. It runs to the airport (less than 10 minutes away) and also to local restaurants and pretty much anywhere within a 3-mile radius. That made it incredibly easy to grab dinner without needing a car. I spent two nights here with my daughter and mom and we were all comfortable. I absolutely love their shuttle service drivers and all the staffs at the hotel were amazing! The room was clean and I love that we had good options for breakfast. I believe this was worth it.

As a Platinum Elite member, I’m accustomed to consistent service and flexibility with late checkout. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet that expectation. I requested a late checkout on the day I checked in. However, on the morning of checkout, I was then informed (with a 11:00 am knock on the door) that I needed to call that morning to reconfirm the request — something that had not been communicated at check-in and has not been my experience at other properties. After being approved to stay until 1:30 PM, I later received a call at noon asking why I had not yet departed. The mixed communication felt uncoordinated and unnecessary. I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The experience was made even better by Sam at the front desk—she was absolutely awesome. Sam was supportive, kind, and genuinely friendly during both check-in and check-out, which made everything smooth and stress-free. My room was always clean every time I left and returned, which I really appreciated. Overall, excellent service and a very comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this location and look forward to staying here again.
