TownePlace Suites by Marriott Atlanta Kennesaw

I use this hotel for frequent business trips to the area. I used to tell my business to book me in this hotel because I used to like it. The staff had been very friendly and welcoming and I appreciated their welcome gift bag for being a Marriott member when I first used this hotel. It seemed homely and personalized. The rooms were outdated, with shelves that are stained and sometimes rickety, but I initially didn’t mind and felt they were sufficient. Now the staff are hit or miss. One staff member on one of my stays just ignored me for several minutes while at their computer and didn’t notice I was there, then took forever to work the computers to check me in. As a marriott gold member I am supposed to be offered complimentary water, which was not offered or given to me on my last two stay

Being my first time in the area, the location gave me the connivence of having access to many restaurants and stores. There as even a restaurant across the street from the hotel. The check in process was smooth and quick. The staff was very friendly and personable; they even remembered my name. The room was large enough to spread out and not feel cramped into a small space. Housekeeping did do a great job and I had decided to go with cleaning the room every other day (appreciated their approach to environment and conservation). Having a kitchenette gave me the option to store food that I brought back from the various restaurants in the area. Having breakfast in the morning available made starting the day easier and gave me the opportunity to return to the room to do work.||I felt this sta

Check in and check out was very efficient. Staff was very attentive. Amenities were great such as a pool and gym. They have a great selection of frozen microwavable meals that kept me from having to run to the store or go get fast food as well as a continental breakfast to get the day started. Breakfast was served for a longer period than most places so I didn't have to jump out of bed early to get food. I highly recommend a stay here! I love the kitchenette because I don't like to eat out all the time!

It was a great experience. The room was clean and quiet. There was everything I would need if I was staying longer. Breakfast was really good. The staff was friendly. Check in and check out was very easy. Parking was really tight and very limited. Coming in so late made me nervous since I was traveling alone, but in the daylight everything was fine. :)

We stayed here after spending Thanksgiving with family in Marietta. Everything was great, from the easy to get to location, the friendly staff, and the suite rooms. Lots of places to eat close to the hotel, as well as shop if you're into that. Free parking on premises. One example of the good service - after having pizza for supper, we had leftovers, and I asked the woman in the breakfast area if she had anything we could wrap them in. She went and got us some aluminum foil which was perfect. A small thing perhaps, but it's the little things that count for good service
