Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta NW Kennesaw

First off, the front desk people are nice! However I was put in a room , unpacked took shower and then noticed blood all over the tables. Yes blood. There were also cookies on the floor. I couldn't get the front desk on room phone so I had to call with my phone just to reach someone. They said I had to move rooms, obviously 🙄. I had to get dressed, pack everything go all the way downstairs to desk and then get another room key to a room on another floor. Mind you I've been traveling all day and this was after 10pm. They OBVIOUSLY do not clean rooms very well. I was horrified. If this wasn't a corporate stay I would have demanded my money and went elsewhere. Again, the staff are nice but feel they could have met me at room to move me vs making me go all the way downstairs to then go back

Beware, for some odd reason this hotel charges for parking. It is not in a downtown, not a parking garage, not near an airport. They have signs up all over the property stating you have to scan a QR code and pay for parking. Just another junk fee added to your stay which should be illegal. Also one win is a Tru, a lower end Hilton property. They are masking a Tru Hotel as a Home 2 Suites by simply adding a refrigerator and sink. Same cheap Ikea furniture as a Tru. Hilton should investigate this property.

We stayed here for 2 nights for an event that was taking place nearby. The location, while hearing road traffic at times due to proximity to the interstate, was perfect for our stay due to the availability of restaurants & shopping; the room needed more attention to cleanliness; and the check-in process and service was disappointing. When we checked in, there was confusion about parking. At first, we were told that we could have the charge added on to our room, but then we were told that we had to scan the QR code, so when we checked out, I was hoping we were not charged twice (once with QR code, the other by adding the charge to my room). Had the rep explained that we did not have to stay in the hotel lot, we would've parked across the street at the mall, but that was not offered to us.

Room was good but had to pay for parking which if I had realized before I booked, I would not have chosen this location! Two hotels in one using the same elevator was confusing because you had to had to have your room key for the correct hotel to get to your floor. Having to use a room key for the elevators was a pain when you had luggage, etc and found it easier just to use the stairs than put up with the hassle of the elevator key issue! Breakfast bar had no juices except for orange juice and some awful flavored waters! Will not be staying at this location again!

Shout out for the exceptionally warm and welcoming staff (Tavares & John & housekeeping hombre) plus the property itself! Very well-appointed, spotlessly clean, nice touches like an outdoor firepit, pool table and full bar in the lobby. The kitchenette in our comfortable room was well-equipped with nice flatware, dishes and glassware. We walked to Wasabi Sushi Hibachi, right next door. Great location, especially ideal for our southerly migration from the north. Thanks to all at Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta NW Kennesaw! Our entire stay exceeded our expectations by far!
