Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Kennesaw Town Center

I rarely leave negative reviews and usually love Hilton properties, which makes this stay disappointing. At check-in, the bathroom door wouldn’t close and the lights flickered. Maintenance spent nearly two hours in our room fixing it—an inconvenience, but we gave grace. After dinner, we returned to a strong sewage smell and found the AC not working. The hotel was sold out, so no room change was offered—only fans and air freshener. When fans were requested, the request was laughed about, which was shocking given the situation. Our interaction with Emma at the front desk was extremely unprofessional. She was condescending, dismissive, and questioned the validity of our concerns, stating someone stayed in the room the night before without complaints and implying our earlier issues no longe

As someone who spends a lot of time on the road, I’m in a lot of a hotels, and rarely do I come across one as nice as this.||The Non-Room Items: |The hotel seemed to have plenty of parking spaces in a well lit lot, with a beautiful lobby, featuring a cool waterfall, and plenty of seating. There were several meeting rooms, clean restrooms, a pool and fitness center, and an incredibly good onsite restaurant (though it was somewhat expensive). The complementary breakfast was also well above average. The hallways were clean and well maintained with ice machines and guest laundry, and the staff were super friendly.||The Room:|I had room 733, and it was very nice, with high end furnishes, and a great design. I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites and had a great experience overall. The location is excellent—right next to several restaurants, bars, gas stations, and close to the mall. We stayed for one night, and the room was cozy, extremely nice, and very modern. Breakfast was great, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The only downside was a strong cologne smell in our suite, likely from the prior guest or housekeeping. The scent was heavy throughout the entire suite, and in the middle of the night I had to use my asthma inhaler. The room number was 737, and I hope the smell has since subsided. Aside from that issue, the stay was excellent, and I would still recommend this hotel.

Positive: Location and accessibility were great. The complimentary breakfast was elaborate and flavorful. Negative: We did not receive maid service while we were there, and there was no door hanger available to request or deny it.

We stayed overnight last night and we were very impressed. When ever we are back in Kennesaw we will stay again. From the very start Emma went above and beyond. She is definitely one of the kindest people I have dealt with while booking a overnight stay. The world truly needs more people like her. The hotel and rooms are very clean and looked after. We highly recommend.
