Thornwald Mansion

Ok first of all I can not say enough about our hosts Rkia and Thomas . They both were incredible. The greeting when we arrived was nothing you have experienced before. Now the mansion itself is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in the Michael Angelo room on the second floor. Our room was incredible from the original hardwood floors to the most comfortable bed we have been in. The attention to detail is incredible. Don't forget about the robes they had for us. Know lets talk about the homemade breakfast. Rkia prepared for us a delicious egg, quiche, turkey bacon, fruit, coffee, hot tea and the most amazing croissant. We had our breakfast in a beautiful downstairs dining room. We stayed 2 days and visited downtown area and local restaurants so close. This was our best experience in a bed

Rkia and Thomas were incredible!! This was the best bed and breakfast that we've ever stayed in. The Mansion itself is gorgeous. we stayed in the Michelangelo room and it blew us away. Rkia prepared a homemade breakfast for us in the downstairs dining room which was also gorgeous. Downtown is very close and local restaurants are very close. Peaceful retreat.||The staff were so helpful and friendly.||We had a wonderful time at the mansion.||We enjoyed our stay at this quietest bed and breakfast in town located in a park.||The suits are so spacious and well decorated.||The amenities are luxurious.||The breakfast was so good and we enjoyed meeting other guests and sharing stories with them.||The atmosphere was so inviting.||The innkeeper went to lot of extend to make our stay memorable.||We will definitely be back.

We recently stayed at the Thornwald Mansion, and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Carlisle area. Rkia and Tom Hall, who are the owners and Innkeepers, did a great job with communication to ensure everything was ready for our arrival. They are super friendly and obviously take great pride in welcoming guests to the mansion. They met us right at the front door, gave us a nice tour of the mansion, and made great recommendations for dinner. The room was huge and well decorated; we loved the restored clawfoot tub. Breakfasts were very tasty! All in all, a great visit to the Thornwald Mansion. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Absolutely loved our stay at the mansion!||What an amazing place with beautiful restoration and grand architecture.||The rooms are beautiful and equipped with everything a traveler needs such as nice towels and bathrobes and great amenities.||The building is quiet at night so I had a great night’s sleep. The bed was comfortable with luxurious soft sheets. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was fantastic with exceptional service.||The Innkeeper was extremely knowledgeable about the property restoration and its history. We enjoyed our conversation.||The trees of the park surrounding the garden give it a unique atmosphere.||There's a nice backyard to hang out in and patio with lounging chairs for reading a book or just getting sun.||We most definitely will be back and staying here agai
