Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Carlisle

The king bed room was a good size for me. The room was clean and well appointed. The bathroom was the same. There is a pool and gym on the premises. I did not use either, but they looked clean and well kept. All the staff were helpful and friendly.

Booked room with someone representing themselves as an employee of the hotel, but later found to be Expedia who charged an additional $78 for the room. Noisy HVAC that shook so much grill fell off, and no hot water. General Mgr said nothing could be done about the "bait and switch" tactics. Also no reward points or stay credit given because of this practice.

First time stay with a positive experience. Friendly staff, clean property throughout and nicely landscaped. Typical hospitality breakfast. Hotel sits perpendicular to I-81 which is maybe 1/4 away so little or no traffic noise.||Suggestions: In exercise room add a stationary bike and offer coffee 24 hours.

Very nice rooms. There is no signage at the entrance, making it very easy to miss at night. The desk clerk might have been having a bad day maybe, not as friendly as Fairfield employees usually are.

The staff at this hotel were wonderful. They had great restaurant recommendations, started breakfast earlier to accommodate our group's schedule, and allowed late check out on Sunday (for a fee). Although the breakfast options were not the best, and the heating units were louder than usual; the friendliness and professionalism of the staff made our stay excellent. I would stay again just for the helpfulness of the staff.
