IHG Army Hotels Carlisle Barracks - Historia

Check-in was fast and easy. Some of the rooms are located in a different location, which is to be expected as the buildings are from the early 1900s (remodeled to current standards), spaced out. I personally stayed at the Washington building. The building boasts all modern-day amenities while retaining a 19th-century feel. The room remains quite warm on cold nights. Breakfast was no different than any other IHG breakfast, still good. The staff was invaluable, friendly, and professional. Checking out was just as smooth and fast as checking in. I would definitely recommend staying here if possible.

Stayed here with my family while enroute to visit family in New England. The facility consists of three historical buildings that have been freshly renovated into a historical hotel. The building we stayed in had a community Kitchen, Lounge and Business Center. The facility offered free breakfast in the morning and a very small onsite snack shop. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the staff was fantastic.

Wonderful property. Impeccably clean and well maintained. My wife stated it is the best kept hotel that we have stayed at. Plenty of parking in quaint, historic buildings on post. Great place to stay.

I had a wonderful stay for business at this location. The shower was hot, the bed was comfortable and coffee was on point. It was also QUIET-something that’s hard to find. I was worried as I was on the 1st floor but I only heard other guests during normal hours. Being undisturbed I was able to get my rest for the busy days ahead. I travel a ton, and this was one of the nicest hotels I’ve been to. It was not only historic, but well placed at Carlisle Barracks with easy access to my work location and post amenities. There is a full kitchen to wash dishes or cook if you would like & plenty of grounds to explore. If I’m in the area again I will not hesitate to book again.

This hotel was located in a great spot. The city of Carlisle is amazing. The hotel staff and amenities are amazing. A lot of Army hotels are boring, but this is a beautiful place and there are so many great things to do around.
