Holiday Inn Express & Suites Carlisle Southwest – I-81 by IHG

The service was super. The room was clean and appropriate but the shower had no hot water and a long hair on the wall which was a bit concerning. I 10:10 had a great experience with the staff and really want to highlight that. The room overall was clean, beds were comfortable. The TV wouldn't get a clear view and the internet wasn't great. I got it to connect, but it was too slow to answer emails on so I did have to use my Hotspot. I would have also liked a hot tub. But overall the staff made the experience so I did give it 4 stars overall.

Thank you to Tanya in making our check-in quick and easy especially after traveling for over 8 hours. Tanya was a pleasure to engage in conversation with! Her dinner recommendation did not disappoint. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast hostess was very attentive in making sure all areas of food including the coffee pots were full. Breakfast was great as usual. The two gentleman receptionists at check-out were also very pleasant. Thank you Holiday Inn Express for another enjoyable stay.

Came here for one week for dance workshop in Carlisle. Room partially vacuumed each day, trash cans emptied and nothing else. Tables not even wiped clean the entire week. Bathroom filthy. Toilet black with mold. Bathtub had wall grip but floor of tub too slippery so you could not get a shower without falling. Probably never cleaned since bathroom floor and sink were never cleaned or even wiped off. Would never stay here again. Room 210.

Stayed overnight in Carlisle, PA for work and I enjoyed my experience at this hotel! My room was clean and the evening staff was very pleasant and helpful. Plenty of space in the room and the bed was comfy. For some reason I started to run out of hot water towards the end of my shower 🤔 but otherwise, everything was great. I couldn't stay for breakfast, but it is included with your stay.

Exceptional staff, great parking, great building upkeep. Normal wear & tear - chipped bathtub porcelain, scuffed cabinet kick panels - but everything in perfect working order and kept very clean. Great shower head, excellent water pressure. Breakfast nook is modestly sized but excellent. Two Omelette options, French toast, bacon, bagels, muffins, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, and fruit. Coffee is from fresh ground per-cup machine and is outstanding. Seating is good and area is kept tidy. Highway road noise is present but not at all annoying. Be aware there are many trucking & logistics facilities nearby, so slightly higher truck related noises can be heard. Room air conditioner can be quite loud. I have no trouble sleeping with it, but some may find objectionable. WILL DEFINITELY STAY
