The Westin Crystal City Reagan National Airport

FYI currently under major renovation (Jan 2026). Always really like this hotel, though it was well in need of a refresh. Staff are great, good location close to Metro. As of early January 2026, hotel is undergoing a significant renovation. Looks like it’ll look great when finished, and this has always been a great place to stay despite its slightly frumpy former appearance. If traveling soon, check with hotel about current renovation progress, as it isn’t mentioned on the website and many amenities in photos are currently unavailable or are impromptu replacements (eg gym and restaurant). Still a great breakfast! Looking forward to seeing the end result!

Hamid served us breakfast and provided quality service. He had a pleasant attitude and took great care of everyone. The front desk Yemeirah was great and made our stay special. Omar the Front Desk Manager was a hospitable and took time to great us. Very professional staff. We will be back. Our room was recently renovated and the views were stunning!

Positive: Been there before still quality hotel not ran down after years of being in business Negative: The light shining in under the door lol easy fix i placed a towel down. Bed was too firm but thats a personal preference nothing on the hotel.

When they say this hotel is “undergoing renovation” they aren’t joking. This hotel looks outdated and dirty. I wasn’t in a “renovated” room, and the wallpaper was peeling from the walls, the tables had burn marks on them, and the walls were so thin I could hear the neighbors entire conversation word for word. An hour after checking in (at around 7pm), a housekeeping staff member knocked on the door to check if my room was ready. I said it was fine and he repeatedly asked if I had all of the towels I needed. It was weird. Shouldn’t they confirm this before allowing a guest to check into the room? On the second day of my stay I got a notification that the hotel had attempted to charge my card again, and the app showed the wrong dates and room number. I checked with the front desk, who info

I am so disappointed in this hotel. They have consistently refused to assist me in solving my problem. I and my employer have reached out to this hotel site for weeks to resolve a payment issue and they refuse to assist us. We have completed and signed documents twice and no assistance or work has been done. This is unacceptable. every time I call them, they put me on hold and refuse to help even after saying they would to me and my employer. The request is not difficult and the hotel staff has repeated assured us the task could be completed. What is the issue here? I will update my review once my issue is resolved. I really cannot believe this level of intentional ineptitude.
