I had an amazing experience at this hotel! We were booked into a two bedroom suite, however, due to the heater being broken in the room, they notified us prior to our arrival and gave us two one bedroom studio suites and did not charge us any extra, and they provided us with several amenities. When we arrived, we were greeted by the amazing front desk attendant, Maria, who treated my father and I excellently, giving us several additional amenities due to the issue with the rooms, such as extra miles, complimentary parking, and gave us complimentary waters. She was incredibly great throughout our entire stay and helped us with anything that we needed during our stay. I have stayed at many mariott hotels, and I don’t think I have ever had this fantastic of an experience with the excellent st

When I was checking out, I asked to speak with the manager. Since there wasn't one who was physically there, I contacted the manager by email to relay my dissatisfaction with the stay. I didn't even receive a response back which is not surprising given the poor customer service at the hotel overall. I stay at a lot of Marriott properties and rarely do I feel like I have anything but a positive stay but this time was different. First off, there was a bad smell in my room. After trying to find out the cause, I think it ended up being rotting food in the sink drain since the garbage disposal doesn't work. Rude staff: I don't think anyone said hello (or even looked up) at the front desk except at check in and check out. My first morning there, I didn't want breakfast (just coffee) but I got

Let me tell you something about the entire staff — calling them excellent, passionate, and understanding is honestly an understatement.||After a 7.5-hour drive to attend the FDIC conference, I arrived at the hotel exhausted and distressed, unable to locate my ID. The front desk clerk explained the policy, but when I showed a picture of my ID and other credentials, she didn’t just stop there — she immediately contacted her manager.||Louise, the manager, took the time to verify everything and gave the approval. That kind of care and commitment is rare. Most places wouldn’t go the extra mile like that to ensure a guest feels safe and comfortable.||The team didn’t stop there — they even helped me with laundry since I had to extend my stay. The kitchen staff? Just as impressive. They consistent

This is hands down my favorite place to stay when I’m in DC for work. It just works. The location is a big reason why. It’s tucked next to a quiet residential neighborhood, which is perfect for walking my dog and getting some fresh air without feeling like I’m stuck in the middle of the city. At the same time, it’s super central—there are restaurants, a grocery store, and a gym all within walking distance, so everything I need is close by. The staff is what really makes this place stand out. Everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. You’re always greeted with a smile, and it feels like they actually care that you’re there, not just checking boxes. That kind of vibe matters a lot when you’re traveling for work. If you’re in DC often and want a place that’s comfort

We spent a very short time in the hotel, but fully enjoyed the time we did! The hotel was clean and beautiful. The staff was friendly an helpful and the bed was so comfortable. Had a great nights' sleep! Parking was at a premium, but we got in late and were able to find a spot on the street. We had plans for breakfast with family and did not partake of the breakfast at the hotel, but did enjoy some very good coffee. When visiting family/friends in the area, we fully plan to stay here again. Thank you for another wonderful stay at a Marriott Residence Inn!
