The Kennebunk Inn

The hotel was great! Everyone was so helpful and friendly and the location was wonderful. We enjoyed lunch in the tavern overlooking the ice rink and coffee & cookies in the living room. The only reason I don't give 5 stars across the board is that it is an old building and the shower was small, and there were not a lot of electrical outlets. We didn't mind but some travellers might be uncomfortable.

Upon arrival Angela greeted us, she was outstanding and the only part of our stay that was enjoyable.|Our room was plain, old furnishings, small with no room for luggage, a window a/c ran off and on our first night waking us. The next morning I read they set it on Econ but suggested we change it if it is annoying. |The bed mattress was worn out with dips in both sides, I woke each morning of our 4 night stay with back aches.|The bathroom had absolutely no space for toiletries, no shelving or counter space. The toilet was a safety hazard having been built up on a raised floor between two walls less than two and half feet wide; it was dangerous in trying to choose how to use it especially during the night.|The shower was very small , but though they indicated it could take upwards of eight

It was our first time at the Inn. A truly wonderful experience. It just happened that there was a Major Blizzard that weekend and the entire staff, including Mary, Deb,Angela and last but not least the Amazing Chef Adrian catered to all our Needs. We plan to go back soon

Rooms were cozy. Loved the front parlor, it gave us a place to chat with a visiting friend. The bar/dining area was a great surprise. Great atmosphere, nice view of the skating rink and the food and drinks were excellent!!! We stayed there for three hours!!!! Definitely booking again!

Extremely disappointed. We arrived to find our room in unacceptable condition — visibly dirty, not just dusty, and clearly not cleaned for incoming guests. We immediately brought this to the front desk’s attention, but the manager and owner offered no apology or solution and simply said “ok.” We left and stayed elsewhere that night. It’s unfortunate that such a beautiful property is so poorly maintained and that the situation was handled with zero professionalism or accountability. Based on our experience, I would not recommend staying here.
