Hampton Inn Kennebunk Kennebunkport

Welcoming staff at desk. Hotel clean and accommodating. Nice pool area but would have loved a hottub.|Room met all our needs though the towel exchange not convenient. Close to Christmas Prelude. Highly recommend the hotel.|Breakfast was great. Wide assortment of breakfast items. Coffee and cookies were a nice touch.

Me and my husband and our dog had a great two nights at the Hampton inn. Friday night we dined at Duffy's. Pretty good - C+. Sat morning my husband enjoyed the gym and pool. We enjoyed a walk on Gooch Beach, gourmet A+ breakfast at Mikes All Day Breakfast. Then we drove slowly - agog at the historic properties - through the quaint, classy and bustling village of Kennebunkport. Next we thrifted and antiqued along route 1 to Biddeford and back. The haul was epic. Dinner was delightful at the Kennebunk Inn. Sunday we continued to shop, stroll and enjoy the area. Lovely weekend! Very nice hotel with very nice rooms. The service from the front desk and manager was phenomenal. The ladies at the front desk made some wonderful dinner recommendations. Also, we left my wife's iPad in the room, and were 3 hours away onto our next destination when we realized it. We called and sure enough it was there. The manager boxed it up on a Friday, shipped it to us, and it got here on Monday! The only criticism I have is similar to one that was posted a week ago. The breakfast buffet really needs to step it up a notch. We often stay at Hampton Inns, and this was the most lacking I've seen. Admittedly it's been a year since I stayed in one, so perhaps others have become equally bland. In any case, I would stay at this one again if I'm in the area.

We’ve stayed here many times on the way to Bar Harbor. A very typical Hampton Inn, with the bonus of exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. We’ll be back!
