King's Port Inn

We LOVE staying at the Kings Port Inn! My husband and I have visited for the past 6+ years -- coming a few times a year. We stumbled across this gem while staying at another hotel in Kennebunkport and booked it because there was no availability elsewhere at the time. We always stay in the jacuzzi room and it comes across highly recommended! I have done a lot of research on jacuzzi rooms in other hotels and you cannot beat the price of this room, especially in the off season. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, and there is a comfortable little sitting area with a table that you can easily share a meal or read a book. The main selling point is how close it is to town and the restaurants, in this pretty town. Well positioned at the crossroads entering town, with plenty of parking. The rooms themselves are perfectly fine, if a little dated. The bed is large and comfortable and having a small sitting area was nice. The included basic breakfast was enough to set you up for the day. The front desk staff were knowledgeable of the area and gave some tips on where to go for dinner.

Positive: "" Negative: No coffee and drinks in room. Pretty expensive for what you get. No flexibility in terms of giving credit for unused day.

My husband and I just spent the weekend here and absolutely loved it. First, the guy at the front desk was so helpful. He gave us a map to the town and pointed out locations to go check out. It was easy to walk to everything! The town is really cute to walk around and we loved the nearby trails at the Franciscan that he recommended! Second, we got the jacuzzi room and it was SO worth it. The jacuzzi was clean and in a wet room with double showerheads. There was always hot water available and it was just a nice experience. The beds were comfortable and the room had a mini-fridge that suited our needs. Breakfast options were pretty typical cereals, bagels, but then they had a staff member who made waffles for you as well and those were GREAT. We’re so happy we picked this place and had a

We stayed here during Covid so the included breakfast was not available. This time it was and it was quite good, especially the made to order Belgian waffles. |Be aware that this hotel faces a bar that has line music every night until 10:30 or so. Both nights we were here we enjoyed the music, but if you are an early sleeper, this may not be for you. Downstairs rooms - you will hear the people above you. |Bathroom with sauna and two showers was nice. Not all rooms have this. I believe those with King bed do. |Reception staff cooperative but a bit snooty and not helpful with questions about beaches and town. |Dining room staff was lovely. |We’d come again.
