The Beach House Inn

The Beach House accommodated us at the last minute when a nearby hotel canceled our reservation, which we ended up being incredibly thankful for! There's a lovely B&B vibe as you enter and are greeted with coffee, tea, water, or lattes (available for your whole stay- also an ice machine with "the good ice"). The main area is comfortable and has a seating area to look out at the ocean, one to cozy up at the fireplace, and a table for playing games (there were several available). There's a sweet little gift shop with some unique gifts, a fantastic fragrance line I wish I had bought something from, sweatshirts,etc. John gave us great recommendations for dinner, and we chose Allison's which was delicious. We stayed in Room 103. It was very cute, pretty clean overall (could have been checked for dust on lamps and blinds a little better though) and easily accessible from the outside. Hallways were very hot but the rooms had AC units so it was very comfortable inside. We had a lovely time. Free coffee in the morning was a nice touch. Would have been nice to have a little snack, maybe muffins for something, we had to|go elsewhere for food but there isn’t a kitchen on site so it makes sense. Location was great, right on the water! Nice to sit outside each morning and watch the waves roll in. Overall it was very quiet. Bed was comfortable! I had indicated we were celebrating my husbands promotion and there was a card and bottle of champagne for us upon arrival. It was so nice! We would certainly

This Inn has become our favorite place to stay in the Kennebunk and Kennebunkport area. A home away from home! The Staff treats you like family, not just a guest. The personal touches from the 24/7 Coffee bar, gift shop spacious and elegant sitting areas where you can relax, read a good book, reconnect with loved ones or mingle and meet new friends. The rooms are decorated with comfort and charm in mind. if you are planning a trip to the Kennebunk area in Maine, the Beach House Inn will touch your heart strings as it did ours as a great place to stay.! I highly recommend!

You pay for the location. Beautiful scenery, right on the beach so the location is perfect. The rooms, not as great. Our room was on the 1st floor with the staff quarters. Room was outdated and a little dirty. Toilet was constantly running. But the beds are super comfortable, love the pillows. The staff is friendly but there aren't any amenities other than k-cups and a bag of Doritos. I would definitely stay here again, next time I'll just ask not to be on the 1st floor and we'll bring our own alcohol.
