The Doyle Hotel

I had a wonderful stay at The Doyle Hotel. The entire experience felt welcoming from start to finish.||LaTonya at the front desk stood out immediately. She is warm, pleasant, and leads by example. You can tell she understands hospitality and supports her team well. Her professionalism and kindness set the tone for the entire stay.||The staff as a whole is fantastic. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and eager to help. The hotel itself is charming, clean, and accommodating. Every detail felt thoughtful and well maintained.||The Doyle Hotel delivers both comfort and great service. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.

I stayed with my partner for our anniversary and the hotel was very pretty and the service was incredible. I accidentally booked two rooms and didn’t realize until the day before, and they were so kind when assisting me in cancelling it and even gave me a refund. We thought everything was so cool with how modern and high-tech it was. We ate at the cafe in the morning for breakfast and it was so cool the way it was set up; it was in a house-style building and the staff were so nice. We just wish the hotel had a pool!!! Thank you so much for our stay.

I was looking forward to staying here and it’s a cute boutique hotel but staff… literally terrible. I was being harassed. First, during check in process there’s no way to announce and pay pet fee. I received a text to pay the fee when we returned from her walk. When we got off the elevator, there was a huge poop about the size of your hand soon as the doors open. They said it was my 8lb yorkipoo… I paid the fee. I received 2 text about it. I asked the front desk, she tells me she can’t help and doesn’t know anything, they’re just sitting there bc everything is virtual. She tells me that they must’ve seen it on camera but she couldn’t help or do anything… there’s no camera on the floor. Next I requested valet on the app to return my car, after 30 minutes I had to ask for my car because it s

Lovely, chic hotel in a fantastically convenient part of Charlottesville - great restaurants and close to everything. Service was very attentive and responsive. Took a few points off facilities because the gym was a little grim.

This breaks my heart, but I no longer feel safe at the Doyle Hotel. I have reported in writing and left a voicemail message about an incident with the parking valet. Up until now, I was staying there once a week. I love the café and rooftop restaurant and bar, and I have found the other staff there to be very courteous and professional. But when someone no longer makes you feel safe and there is no response to a regular client, then I give up. There are other options in Charlottesville. Shelter from the storm!
