The Chadwick Bed & Breakfast

I highly recommend staying at The Chadwick Bed and Breakfast if you are ever in Portland! My friend and I stayed for the weekend and had an amazing time despite having to leave early due to the incoming storm. The room was gorgeous and the hosts were very friendly. The breakfast was outstanding, they were great at accommodating dietary restrictions and truly fulfilled all of my Gilmore Girls dreams. This was definitely a better option then staying in a hotel or airbnb.

The location was very convenient. |The Western Prom area of Portland has many wonderful views and lovely homes. |The property and home was easy to access and very comfortable. We appreciate the parking on site. Many of the furnishings were unique and accommodating. Our delicious breakfast was very enjoyable. Coffee, beverages and snacks were always available. |We only met our lovely host as our chef and the beautiful and friendly dogs who knew their boundaries. |We recommend this to anyone who is looking for a friendly and welcoming place.

I planning on heading back home to the Midwest after several months of travel nursing in Maine. I wasn’t quite ready to say goodbye to Portland— I thought about booking a last minute hotel to extend my stay another night, but there just happened to be an opening at the Chadwick! Even though the reservation was a little last minute, Erin made us feel right at home. She responded to our inquiry quickly, and the check-in process was seamless. The room was clean, warm, and so inviting— almost as if it had been waiting all day just for us. So much better than any hotel I could have booked! Breakfast was incredible— I’m still thinking about the sweet potato hash with orange hollandaise and poached eggs. We had a lovely stay -- friendliest B & B owners, best breakfasts, great location. And a huge plus if you like dogs -- the sweetest huskeys you ever met. And if you don't like dogs, don't worry, they stay behind a half door -- happy to greet you if you wish, and especially if you offer treats.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Chadwick B & B for our 2 day trip to Portland. We would highly recommend staying at this lovely B & B. It was clean and well decorated and although we had the smallest room we had a super nice and updated bathroom. The owners were friendly and provided a delicious breakfast as part of our stay. They also have the cutest 3 huskies that "must" get treats every time you pass their door. The neighborhood was quiet and great for walking.
