Best Bower

We had a wonderful experience staying at Best Bower! We were in the Courtyard Queen in February and it was the perfect weekend getaway for a couple, even in the frigid NE winter. The location is impeccable for a couple that likes to walk and explore, everything was convenient to access. The room itself was perfect, clean, and even more spacious than we expected. Amenities included heated towel rack/tiles, large bathroom, Nespresso machine, Fellows kettle, a small functional fridge, and more. We will be staying here again!

My husband, son and I stayed at this charming guesthouse for one night. The room (loft east #5) was stunning! From the soapstone on the bar area to the marble in the spacious bathroom, the decor was top notch. The loft had a very comfortable king bed as well as an xl twin, and the downstairs had a pull out couch. The best was the multiple skylights that had remote control black out blinds. There was a delicious bakery across the street and for dinner we went two blocks away to one of the best barbecue restaurants we’ve had! The restaurant is Terlingua and has amazing outdoor dining areas, fantastic margaritas and delicious food! Highly recommend both the accommodations and the restaurant! Will definitely be back!

We had the best stay! It was walkable to Old Port and felt very safe. The room was spacious and decor super cool. Our bathroom even had a towel warmer which was a nice surprise. Would 100% stay here again! Also, check in process was extremely easy with more of a self-service pathway.

Best Bower is an excellent place to stay! The location is incredible—a maximum 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to the best places in town. The accommodations are just what I like: extremely clean, up to date styling, comfortable bed, a touch of age given the history of the building/area, and a very safe neighborhood. The host was extremely responsive to all of our needs and accommodating every step of the way. We loved the private tree-covered courtyard just outside our door. Note that parking is not available and you’ll need to look for street parking along the main road (Congress St.) or side streets (St. Lawrence) but it shouldn’t be a hassle (just a little bit of circling for the best spot).
