Blind Tiger Portland – Carleton Street

We had so much fun staying here! We did a single night and then headed to York for a girls trip. The single night was so fun, I wish we would’ve spent a few extra days. The bed was so comfy, and we loved the room! The main living areas were so cute. The walkability to breakfast and dinner spots was amazing! Also walkable to the port/downtown area and shopping as well as deering oaks park which was so fun to run/walk. Also so clean!

Wonderful location in the west end. Mattress comfortable. But very expensive for services / room. Breakfast is underwhelming. No coffee / tea / cider on arrival (17 degrees out, would have been a nice touch). No heat in our room (our bad, we were supposed to start texting when we came in from our evening out at midnight.) No extra blanket in the closet! Very nice people but I think they need to rethink charging nearly $400 (a Saturday night early December) for what they provide.

This was an overall lovely hotel. The team was lovely and very easy to communicate with. The common areas were beautiful and well designed, everything felt luxurious and inviting. I'm glad we stayed here overall but a couple of things would have made the experience better. There were a couple of black stains on our sheets that were a bit concerning. The bed we had was large but didn’t have enough support from the frame. The middle just caved in and we woke up with some minor tweaks from the lack of support. The towels were rough! This was minor but just felt dissonant from how considered all the other choices were. And the bathroom was pretty dark. We were in the room called Nocino for reference. We booked last minute so paid a bit more and were expecting something a little better. But f

We had an amazing stay at the Blind Tiger Porltand Carleton St location. The hotel is very cozy and we felt like we were staying in a very cozy house. The beds are comfy, furniture is very nice and the bathroom is well equipped and clean and tidy. The location is very convenient too. We were provided with excellent housekeeping as well as delicious breakfasts in the form of picnic baskets every morning of our stay. Would highly recommend ! 10/10

We liked the location which is close enough to everything to walk, but far enough from downtown to avoid the bustle. House itself is obviously on the older side, but its beet treated with love. Wonderfully decorated inside and quiet at night. We would definitely go back.
