The Capitol Hotel Charleston

Positive: Comfortable beds. Negative: Water pressure very low. The breakfast was next door at the Quality Inn. Pancakes and cereal. My sister and I only ate there the first morning of the 4 days because of this. Also, hotel was hard to find because the signs still had Best Western.

My recent stay was pleasant. The front desk was friendly. My room was great. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable, no flat pillows! Paula checked on me to make sure I had enough towels for my stay. Will return again next year. Convenient location, too!

We had a very bad experience at this hotel. We had a bathroom filled with ants, emergency alarms going off several times at night, and homeless people all over the place. Beds were comfortable and place is under renovation, but should probably not be open at the moment.

Positive: "" Negative: There were closed signs everywhere. Gym was closed, pool was closed, elevator had buttons taped off, one of the elevators was closed. Breakfast was at the hotel next door. There was a homeless guy out front exposing himself.

Went to get my daughter and it looked super nice online when we got there it was total opposite . Shower didn't work correctly had to take a cold shower. Rooms smelled awful, water came out brown
