Country Inn & Suites By Radisson, Charleston South, WV

The place is falling apart. The tub was extremely filthy, we did not take a shower. The dark out curtains had so many holes it looked like Swiss cheese. The sink had mold around the inside…it was gross. The rug in the hallway had stains…. The ceiling had too many water stains…. Looked like there is an issue with the plumbing. We couldn’t sleep 😴 too much noise from the interstate…heard trucks driving all night.

Fairly nice hotel. The beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly and it was a quiet stay despite being next to the interstate. |Breakfast was well tended, definitely a classic continental meal. Coffee was better than I’ve had at higher priced hotels.|As for complaints, everything in our room (aside from the beds) was well-used. |Overall, definitely a good stay for the price.

This hotel was okay for a few hours. The rooms have very thin walls, and you can hear noises from the hallway and voices through the walls. There were some stray cats around. The bathroom looked a bit old and somewhat dirty. The breakfast was better. I'm sorry I didn't take any pictures.

We arranged for this room online while on the road. Room #200 Upon arrival the lobby was pleasant. However, when we got to our room it was another story. First only 1 bath towel, 4 adults. Then no toilet paper, none. Then no (none) washcloths at all. Some of us were going to shower, the tub and shower hadn't been cleaned in a while. The toilet had dried urine top and bottom of the seat. The carpet whas dirty. When I checked the microwave, my fingers stuck to it, that dirty. The main dresser under the tv was literally broken, a piece missing, veneer missing. And the entry door, beat to death, 11 deck screws holding it together. My family and I were on our way home from visiting family in another state and we decided to stop here to rest our eyes from our ten hour drive. Fast forward the next day we had checked out and we had already driven four hours until I realized i had left my wedding ring on the bathroom counter. I called the hotel desk and they told me that nothing was left behind but I distinctly remembered i left it there before I applied my hand ointment. They failed to call me the next day as they mentioned they would.
